Innovation Month is back and this year it’s all about experimentation!
Our government needs to find new solutions and better ways of working, and experimentation is the key.
So this Innovation Month, our public sector will open up to share stories of testing, failing, and learning from experiments, and of delivering results for the people we serve. Hence the theme Test. Fail. Learn. Deliver.
Innovation Month events will be hosted across the country from 1–31 July.
What is Innovation Month?
Innovation Month is an annual APS-wide initiative, dedicated to showcasing and celebrating thinking differently, being creative and trying new approaches in government.
Held each July since 2011, Innovation Month includes events hosted by government, private and academic organisations, tailored to an overarching theme.
The Public Sector Innovation Network team coordinates the month.
How do I attend an event?
Check out the event schedule to find out what’s happening near you. Make sure you register for each event you plan to attend as they book out quickly!
Not in a capital city? Not to worry, there’ll be plenty of online events for you to get involved in. Simply check the schedule and register your interest for each event.
