Canberra Training Event: Design Thinking at Work

Want to accelerate complex problem-solving and innovative thinking within your organisation?  Join colleagues from across the APS as they:

  • explore and develop a thorough, hands-on understanding of the design thinking innovation and experimentation approach; and
  • understand how design integrates with strategy, architecture and agile to develop a complementary learn-fast and scale-fast set of toolkits and skills that can be used in any part of the organisation.

The course will be facilitated by Craig Martin, the founder and director of DesignChain, who has a passion for strategic and enterprise design, having used them to solve some complex challenges in the public and private sector.

Craig is an internationally recognised innovator and speaker on these subjects, and has the ability to challenge conventional thinking and present a systemic view of what can be achieved in business using some of the thinking, models and companies he has developed.

This course is for managers and team members who want to understand how to apply design thinking to their organisations and teams, and will take an ‘Enterprise Design’ approach – combining the learn-fast innovation and experimentation mindsets from design thinking, with the scale-fast mindsets of strategy, architecture and agile.

Please contact matt [at] (Matt Mulrine) if you have any further questions.
